Medgate is delighted to announce that the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is now using its Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) data management software.
TVA is a federal utilities company with operations in seven Southeastern states, providing electricity for 9 million people. Power producing operations include hydroelectric, coal, natural gas, nuclear, and renewables. It has revenues of $10.9bn.
TVA’s Safety and Industrial Hygiene teams are already enjoying the benefits of Medgate, while the Occupational Health team will work with industry-qualified Medgate experts to implement over the coming months.
As well as monitoring and tracking incidents, TVA’s EHS professionals will use Medgate’s Business Intelligence tools to produce dynamic reports which demonstrate the impact and value of their programs.
TVA has taken advantage of Medgate’s ability to interface directly with HR software to regularly update its employee information and organizational structure, ensuring that the EHS team is always working with up to date information.
