The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has become the newest organization that has selected Medgate to replace a competitor’s occupational health safety management software. Medgate will be hosting the occupational health software suite for the IDB, an organization that partners with clients in seeking to eliminate poverty and inequality and promote sustainable economic growth.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the IDB is comprised of 48 member countries and is the main source of multilateral financing and expertise for sustainable economic, social, and institutional development in Latin American and the Caribbean. The IDB Group is composed of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF). The IIC focuses on support for small and medium-sized businesses, while the MIF promotes private sector growth through grants and investments, with an emphasis on microenterprise.
